Eat Chocolate and Live Longer.
It’s what the corporate types call a "win-win situation": Not only does chocolate taste good, it’s good for you, too. A Harvard University study cited in Functional Ingredients Magazine found that those who eat chocolate live on average nearly a year longer than sourpusses. Also, moderate chocolate consumption might help the immune system, reduce cardiovascular disease, prevent cancer and improve dental health. This is due to polyphenols, a naturally-occurring chemical found in plants. Cocoa has a high amount of polyphenols, which are antioxidants that fight damage done to cells by free radicals.Another study quoted said you could extend your life five to ten years with an active lifestyle and a balanced diet including foods (such as chocolate) rich in polyphenols.

My Arthritis Story
Rheumatoid arthritis is typically a progressive disease that unchecked causes joint destruction and functional disability. My inflammatory arthritis diagnosed 15 years ago has caused my right wrist to fuse, deformed the right elbow, limiting my range of motion and flexibility, not to mention pain. Simple activities that most take for granted i.e. good sound sleep, bouncing out of be in mornings, bathing, brushing teeth, getting dressed, making meals, and driving a car are a challenge, a stick shift impossible. With the use of strong medication the disease is slowed but there is always underlying pain. There have been rounds of cortisone to reduce the inflammation and pain. After the March launch of Nopalea I started on 3 to 4 oz daily and to be quite honest I didn’t have great expectations but after 2 weeks I was absolutely shocked when I was able to bend my wrist at an angle that I was unable to do 2 weeks prior to taking Nopalea. Daily I noted more flexibility, less pain. After 2 weeks, I am able to lift heavier weights at the gym, lift my grandbabies, need less help in the kitchen, can button those pesky buttons, and a myriad of other things that most people take for granted. It’s amazing. And I am pain free. My Rheumatologist said continue doing what you’re doing, it’s working. I say thank you TriVita, Nopalea is a miracle in my life.
